During our family trip, we were amazed by the beautiful location of the hotel, with stunning views of the city and a nearby university. the hotel was just a short walk from the historic center and the walls of the city. Our room was spacious, quiet, with great bathroom facilities and nice amenities. Service at breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of choices, including delicious fresh-squeezed orange juice. we were disappointed by the inconvenient parking situation. we had a memorable and enjoyable stay that we will cherish forever.

Shower was wonderful, and probably the best feature. Older folks, as we are, we were glad that I didn't have to cllimb over the edge of a tub, risk my neck trying not to slip, and not wet the floor around the glass half door that other hotels have.
The Spanish type pillows that run the width of the bed. Would prefer the individual pillos that one finds in the USA

Its close proximity to the walled city. The comfort and size of the rooms and facilities.
Our room neded some maintenance which was reported immediately but never repaired during our stay ie. The sink waste didn't work so no water was able to be kept in the sink for washing, shaving etc. the wall support in the shower had come off due to poor fixing so was inoperable.

Great restaurant menu and food. The beds were comfy and the rooms were immaculate. Perfectly placed for an overnight stay on a long journey, with easy access from the main road. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Magnificent views and plenty of free parking. A good, reliable and inexpensive option.
Some rooms had issues like damaged floor tiles, poor views, and non-functioning bathroom facilities. The disabled facilities were not up to standard, causing inconvenience.

They gave us wheelchair accessible room with great view and the top floors facing the walls and that was essential. Location: the hotel was close enough to the public areas, the city centre and the Cafeteria on the corner...

Convenient to get onto the motorway system. OK for a basic overnight stop if the price was cheaper.
Hotel is on a busy road adjacent to a petrol station. Restaurant facilities were minimal due to wedding being held. Along walk to Avila and hilly. A/C not very efficient

We recently stayed at Hotel Sercotel for one night on our way to Santander. The hotel was perfectly placed for our overnight stop, being easy to find from the main road. The staff were friendly, the rooms immaculate, and the views of the old wall were spectacular. Free and easy parking, a good restaurant next door, and a clean petrol station nearby made our stay even more convenient. The double glazing kept noise from the road out completely. We will definitely stay here again when traveling through.

New hotel very stylishly furnished. Bathroom layout unusual but very well-equipped-spacious shower. Good view of the city walls.
LAN internet access not working in our room. We were on the 6th Floor and apparently Wi-Fi only works up to the 1st Floor. Breakfast quite basic given the apparent quality of the hotel. Location not suitable for walking into the city.
